Muting & Scratching- Scholar Packet

Aloha & thank you for purchasing your Scholar Packet for our latest Livestream Workshop! The Scholar Packet is ready, and here are your goodies below. Please feel free to watch this video about “Rhythm Changes” as many times as you want, it will always be here (and on youtube as unlisted) for your viewing. In the lesson I go over a 32 bar progression called “Rhythm Changes”. The reason for the name comes from the Gershwin Classic, “I’ve Got Rhythm”. You can actually sing a variety of songs with this progression, including “Cotton Tail", “Anthropologie”, “Lester Leaps in”, “The Flintstones Theme”, “Scrapple From the Apple”, and more.

Backing Tracks are for “Five Foot Two”, for you to practice some of your muting and scratching. Click the button below for the song form, including the chorus. This has no melody line written, it just gives you the chords and bars (similar to a box chart).
